Lite Scan methodology

The Lite Scan fetches the submitted public homepage and selected standard discovery files. It records observable evidence for technical access, answer-friendly page structure, and trust-related metadata.

Fixed rubric

Rubric lite-calibrated-v1 weights discoverability at 30%, answer-friendly content at 35%, and trust signals at 35%. Duplicate crawler-access checks and llms.txt receive reduced weight. Honesty caps prevent technical access alone, low trust, missing entity signals, or unavailable content evidence from producing a strong result.

Limits

The scan does not query ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI, or any other answer engine. It does not measure actual traffic, rankings, citations, recommendations, or inclusion in generated answers. Google documents no additional technical requirements for its AI Search features beyond normal Search requirements.
